Cookybiscuit got a reaction from BenyaminJ in Why do (gaming) headset microphones suck?
The 12 year old kids who buy them probably don't really care about the audio quality of their mic when they are screaming at people through them, if anything it's an advantage.

Cookybiscuit got a reaction from Winbean in reassigning keys on keyboard
I have no idea why then, that program writes the changes to the Windows registry, software doesn't get any say in if or not it wants to ignore it.

Cookybiscuit got a reaction from Winbean in reassigning keys on keyboard
If you want this as a permanent change, SharpKeys will do this easily, just change num lock to A and num lock to a useless key of your choice so you can still enable it when needed.

Cookybiscuit got a reaction from T02MY in NVIDIA Controls AIB Launch and Driver Distribution - HardOCP
I really love the idea that a new generation of cards should increase in price proportionate to its performance increase, if that was actually how it worked graphics cards would start at $100,000 or more I'm guessing.

Cookybiscuit reacted to Mira Yurizaki in Will RTX GPUs forever be overpriced?
I'm going to sound like an ass, but the reality is that high end video cards are luxury items. On top of that, gaming as a hobby is an expensive hobby. You can't afford it? Oh well. You can't afford it. NVIDIA is not obligated to bend over and charge less because some people think it's too expensive. Considering that pre-orders (*shudder*) are sold out, clearly it's not too expensive for the entire market.
And in some places, $1200 would pay for maybe 2/3rds of the rent. So there's that.
