Wow amazing first build plans my guy!

Something to definitely consider though: you need case fans. Either add some to the build (plenty if you're going 4080 and an oc 13700k), and/or switch out the case. I just built in the o11-d evo's little sibling and I love it to bits but if you're not sure, or want some fans pre-installed (at this price not so relevant) then consider something else. Personal taste for the most part.

Cooler should be good! If you don't care about looks at all I can't not recommend noctua until you step up to a 280 or 360 aio.

If you're gaming and doing content creation, 2TBs will only get you so far. I would start planning, even if you don't want to buy now, how that will be increased. I find over time my main drive gets bloated so I, for my build I just made, have started with 2 drives and don't put games or steam etc anywhere near my boot drive.

    Good luck!

Honestly, mining cards are usually better taken care of than gaming cards:
Lower voltage. Lower heat spikes. Somewhat professional approach to handling (usually). But miners were not interested in the 6600 or 6600xt.  They came out in January, didn't mine well for their release price, and most of them were limited stock on release, and were likely made sometime last spring or summer.  You may even be able to swing a purchase receipt from the original seller if you buy from craigslist or facebook marketplace and get the warranty anyway.  A good deal may not even be used, but are being resold new in box by unsuccessful scalpers (at least that was the case this summer and fall).

But the other thing is, eBay has the buyer protection (not sure how long, but long enough to inspect in upon receipt).  If you wanted to ensure the GPU was fine, upon receiving it you should:
Record yourself using your system normally. Install the GPU with a fresh installation of windows and run a benchmark (userbenchmark is usually pretty good for checking the relative performance of a GPU against other models of the same GPU).  Record this. If it benches well, 99.99% of the time you are fine.  The card works and it will continue to work for a very long time. If it benches poorly, ensure the fans are plugged in and/or that it is clean under the heatsink.   With an rx 6600xt or 6600, these cards are too young to be dirty under there, so highly unlikely that's an issue.  If it benches very poorly or does not work, submit a claim with eBay buyer protection and you'll get your money back.  You don;t need the recordigs for this, they'll still favor the buyer every time, but the recordings would be a good insurance against a shady seller.  But frankly, people who sell GPUs on eBay won't sell dead ones as working because they know it will kill their feedback score and they'll waste a bunch or money on shipping. READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION. DO NOT BUY FROM SELLERS OUTSIDE YOUR COUNTRY.

I was just running integrated graphics on the r5 7600 nonx.

I switched to display port and it started working. (it wasnt a monitor settings issue as i used the same cable for gpu and igpu)

not sure what the problem was but thanks anyway!

Exciting that you're building your first pc!

If you care alot about minecraft ray tracing, the nvidia cards are better in this regard (despite the rx6800 being awesome for normal rasterization!).
Id say the 5600x won't bottleneck you for the most part and you can save a nice amount going this way but with the crazy framerates you'll want in cs:go this can rely on the cpu more.

I personally would go for a more reputable PSU manufacturer as the price difference isn't crazy.

Value is hard for other people to gauge for you, but you're on the right track!

I can't see anything wrong. PCPP's compatibility function is amazing.

I'm in the middle of building a Ryzen 7000 and went with the 7600 non-x as the performance is practically identical. Would be curious about peoples opinions on this as you might be able to save a few bob.

Also check the CL of the ram to make sure youre getting the fastest for the price

What GPU will you upgrade to? If it is a chonker 4090 or whatnot 750 won't do but most anything else this will be awesome.

    I'm excited for you!

they perform about the same but the GTX 1070 use less energy therefore will output less heat and likely run cooler and probably quieter as well...also has an extra 2GB of video memory and support some cool new features and perform better in DX12...that said... £330 for a 980ti is tempting if the average 1070 is 400...it's a tuff decision...it depend if you need to save money or if you don't really care spending a bit more for a better card...again, performance wise very similar.

    Seems fine.

But, ditching the fans for case stock, getting the gaming 5 (which still looks good) and getting a air cooler that still performs almost as good for less will allow you to get a 1080 if you are welling to go 75 pounds over budget. Otherwise, seems pretty decent.

If you are welling to wait, you can get the 1070/1080 when the supply finally catches up and the price stabilises.

Looks good to me. The M.2 drive you selected wont give you any extra performance over the normal 850 EVO, as it also runs on SATA 3. It doesn't need cables, but it gets pretty hot compared to the normal one.

I would say about 100-150 dollars and you can have a case with a temperedglass sidepanel
