~£1400GBP Gaming Build

Saygi

Was wondering if any parts here i've listed are either bottlenecking overall gaming performance and are very much worth upgrading or if any parts are being bottlenecked by the rest of the system and a downgrade won't hamper performance too much.

This system will be used for 1440 gaming for a fair few years to come. Design is quite important so may any suggestions be fitting with a white/black/red aesthetic (original i know!) I am a new builder however my dad is a pc specialist so any workarounds should be okay. Furthermore some brands may not be suitable for purchase as he is getting at a reduced cost from his suppliers

Case is my preference - I understand some money could be saved here

Extra fans for push/pull on radiator (do i need 4 sp's or 2sp's and 2 af's)

I already have a copy of win10 for system

Seems fine.

But, ditching the fans for case stock, getting the gaming 5 (which still looks good) and getting a air cooler that still performs almost as good for less will allow you to get a 1080 if you are welling to go 75 pounds over budget. Otherwise, seems pretty decent.

If you are welling to wait, you can get the 1070/1080 when the supply finally catches up and the price stabilises.

Looks good to me. The M.2 drive you selected wont give you any extra performance over the normal 850 EVO, as it also runs on SATA 3. It doesn't need cables, but it gets pretty hot compared to the normal one.

Just to echo the above points.

I would go with a cheaper air cooler (Alpenfohn Matterhorn Black/White is a good option) and ditch the M.2 SSD. A set of White Corsair Vengeance would go well with that board.

Also look for a cpu/motherboard bundle as you can claim further cashback from toptechcashback on certain combos if you buy from the same store.
