    KRK Rokit 4s $139.50 each
    Persons Eris 4.5s $199.95 pair
    Mackie CR4s $150 pair
The KRKs are the best out of the bunch. The CR4s are good for their price and the Persons Eris 4.5s are good if you want to get an audio interface as well. If you're looking for 5 inch monitors go KRK or M-Audio but avoid the BX5 Carbons and JBL.

Very true but reviews aren't based on points of views. They're based on performance and quality in the products respective fields.

Yeah the keyboard is nice but I don't use keyboards with tablets which is why I think its all down to preference. Whatever suites your needs is how I view it.

I see what you mean. i think that Linus just wanted to provide the audience of a unique point of view on the product (as he usually does) It's obvious that you might not agree with him at 100%, but I think it's just a matter of points of view.

Your setup is great! Good products and definitely won't sound bad at all. The only thing is maybe get and XLR Condenser Mic and pair it with a 2i4 but honestly there won't be that much difference. I found some of those foam thingies!

I was looking forward to this review because Linus has small hands so I wanted to see if going back to a small phone would actually benefit him. Unfortunately he barely mentioned the phone he was reviewing at all and just had a rant about Apple for some reason.

Most reviews these days, especially smartphone ones, are very much based on the reviewer's opinion and perspective. That's why I stick to sites like Anandtech/DisplayMate to determine the pros and cons of a product, and then I use things like Linus' and MKBHD's videos to learn how your average consumer would react to a product, and to learn how well they think some specific feature works.

It's not super accurate. Them releasing the old design was to gain the customers that weren't willing to upgrade ( like myself ) who enjoyed the rectangular design more then the curved 6s. Apple received a lot of backlash when they released the 6 and 6s for the curved design. Apple is not going to stop innovating. They simply packed the best features of the 6s into a form and design that people were asking for. I mean take a look at Apple's new 16nm A10 chip. Not that everything Apple touches is gold *cough* iTunes and Appstore *cough* *cough* but its a widely accepted fact that Apple has the best mobile phones. But Apple is not designing their phones for the budget minded. Like if you've got the money buy an iPhone but if you're on a budget buy Android. I think Linus is too biased and can't make a real unbiased review. Like you've got to take a step back and ask yourself "who is this product made for?" and if its not you then who? Take the product and review it pretending to be the target consumer. Because not every product is made for every type of person. And bias, like Linus', really ruins a good review.

@LinusTech, you should review the phone as a phone, not as "the next big thing". You bashed the phone for being a marketing move and not a design move... and then you went on to talk about Apple in general.
I'd rather you didn't review apple products than constantly berate the products and the company as a whole.

(yes, I am aware you gave an iPhone your "phone of the year award", but still, it seems every under-handed joke you throw out on your channel is directed toward Apple)

In this day and age and with the ease of use of YouTube there are a lot of tech review channels. But how can you tell the difference between the bad and the good ones? Here's how:

First and foremost a good review is made from experience and has little to no biased opinions. If I liked Asus more then say BenQ and had to do a review of BenQs budget monitor I would try to avoid "coloring" my review. I would avoid comparing the monitor from BenQ to anything more then its price and I would also take a look at what the BenQ is marketed as. If the BenQ were marketed as a gaming monitor I would look at its refresh rate and latency and compare that with a similarly priced Asus. Now if the refresh rate and latency were not up to par with the Asus then it would get a bad review. But if the BenQ was marketed as a good "all around" monitor then I would take a look at other all purpose monitors at that price point and not the gaming oriented Asus. This is something I see is needed in a lot of reviews. Avoid the kind of "cross category" review. Basically comparing the given item to something of the same kind but in a total different market.

Secondly on biased reviews. I see this a lot, not just in reviews but in budget pc builds and what not. As an example there are people who are going too like Intel more then AMD and vice versa. So if you are reviewing a product don't let your bias get in the way of someone getting a good deal. I have seen people recommend i3s over FX-6300s in budget builds and reviews but ultimately if I'm looking to play all the latest games then I'd want the FX-6300 since some games are actually requiring 4 logical cores to run. Your review or recommendation will affect how people spend their money. Think it through and take your consumer into mind.

Third of all. Review items you have hands on experience with! Say you're shopping online and you see a great looking keyboard that lights up but its from a brand you've never heard of before or from a brand that has a bad reputation product wise *cough* Razer *cough*. Only review the item if you have hands on experience. The time could be a piece of garbage. Or the item could be amazing! *side note, don't be afraid to give products from companies that have a bad rep a try, it could be that company's turning point, from the dark side to the light*

And finally the fourth. Provide a well thought out Pros and Cons list. This will ultimately help the reader/viewer decide if the feature set is for them or not. Especially look for neat ( or not so neat ) things the manufacturer might not have advertised or put on the box.

Anyways that was just a quick run through of some things to look for in reviews!

    I hope that helps!!

You will lose some performance due to lack of drivers for your gpu. However you might be better off just buying a more powerful iMac then doing this since the OS change from Mac to Windows is pretty big. Although you could invest into an nvidia quadro gnu which have full support for Mac OS. The Titan X doesn't have optimized drivers for OS X . Quadros do. Here you can find some info on how that all works and whats supported. http://www.tonymacx86.com/building-customac-buyers-guide-march-2016.html It doesn't list the Quadros but they are supported. You might have to look around.
