Like I said, that was one sneaky location for a jam!

I so agree about your alternate method of clearing an ink nozzle clog. I would toss the little bugger in a high arc into a dumpster and savor the thunk it made upon hitting the bottom before doing all that. Oh wait, that IS what I did. That final, fatal thunk the printer made was so satisfying! Pity I didn't have a trebuchet handy to launch the pathetic piece of junk even farther.

Well, if you have another computer, you could burn a dvd with MSDART on it, then boot from it.
From there (or from a linux live cd) you will be able to see the log, that will point the error.

If it was after a major update, it's a partition error, if it's only after a scan, maybe the antivirus messed up (a false positve, i hope)

Something about this video seemed off to me and I don't necessarily think that its because it was a sponsored video.

I think the reason why this video seemed weird to me was the fact that with the exception of a few scenes like the clashing clothes committee (and even then, it still felt forced), I did not see any of Linus's normal personality. It seemed like someone grabbed a checklist and quickly marked off the best words to describe Linus. This was mainly apparent with the "quirky" attempts at touching the car when he wasn't supposed to or trying to talk about things that he couldn't. There was also this constant reminder that he was an outsider; someone separate from Toyota/Prius. I kept on noticing it every time he did some derivative of "Oh I guess Toyota/The director wont let me do that".

As a whole, It felt a lot more like Linus being told to say something specific, rather than being asked to speak about the features of the car in his own way. It seems like there are two types of sponsored videos on LTT. The type where the company just hands Linus a product and a fact sheet, and asks Linus to talk about it (CES comes to mind), and the type where the Sponsor says how they want their product portrayed and what they want said (Camping with Linus video and Project Backpack). With my examples for the second type they still seemed a little more natural than the Prius video.

I like LTT because I feel like for a majority of their content, they assume that their audience knows a little bit about the subject matter. This video felt more directed to a general audience.

In summary, it felt more like Toyota asked you to come over a do a specific video with set instructions already thought up by them. This is in comparison to being asked to come and tell your audience about things like the pedestrian detection and other features. I watch LTT because of your approach to video production, special segments (Scrapyard Wars), and excellent reviewing of products. This video didn't seem to have much, if any of the LTT personality and because of that, this video didn't hold that much appeal to me.

This is not meant to be hate on LTT. I'm just writing this because I think that viewer feedback is important and helps content creators know what people want from a video.

This was a lame video. Really boring. Didn't see the "good ol' LTT treatment " at all.

He drives a pink honda civic. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?

What I think is gonna happen:
Toyota sees the dislikes on the video In a post advertisement meeting they discuss why the advertisement failed Linus tells them that it sucked because he didn't get to write the script to appeal to HIS audience. Toyota either decides to never do an advertisement with LTT again, or they give Linus more advertisement freedom.

I'd say it's got to be the hotswap cages or the cables leading to them. If it was the mobo or the drives, direct connection wouldn't instantly fix the issue.

No, aquila1998, i was talking about internal card reader or usb hub, like the one in the image attached.
If they are connected to power supply, they can cause the problem you described.

First of all, (before updading the BIOS, thing that you should do anyway), have you got some card reader or USB hub that is connected to power supply? Some of those are so poorly built that give this exact same problem.

Can you just make a test on that?
What refresh rate are you using? -i'll say 60Hz

Go on GPU control driver application (Nvidia control panel), and where you set the resolution and the refresh rate, select 24Hz (or any other refresh rate compatible with your display and GPU). The display will turn off, and then on again, and you'll be at 24Hz. After that, set it again at 60 Hz.
Let me know if this solved your problem (it will be back again at the next reboot)

I would go so far as to remove cFosSpeed and turboLAN, as they rarely actually help. Having both installed simultaneously is probably causing issues, since both prioritize network traffic (cFosSpeed by QOS/traffic shaping, turboLAN by packet prioritization at the network level, which your router might not actually support). It might not solve the issue, but it's a good place to start. I'd also completely uninstall your network driver (right-click on the devices in Device Manager and hit Uninstall, checking the box to delete the driver) and then reinstall fresh.

Just use the USB 2.0 on your motherboard, since your motherboard have USB 2.0 drivers.
OR, use an internal hard disk
    You have plenty of options.

Anyway, your motherboard have 2 usb 2.0 on the rear panel (the upper 2) and 2 usb on the motherboard pins. It's 14 on this image

What have you disconnected, then? Is the cr2032 good? (if not you have to change it and reset).
Check if the dim and the ram is clean, when dust sits in the dim slot it can cause errors like this.

Also, just wondering, can you make a better photo of the capacitors near the CPU? The third and the fourth seems a bit bulged from here.

    Happy that you recovered everything

Future reminder: don't trust those external enclosures. The 2.5" are good, since all the current is from USB, and it's stable (well, unless your pc is broken, or you're using a powered USB HUB); but I've had tons of issues with 3.5" ones especially power related. The current of your house is not 100% stable, and the power brick that comes with those external enclosures is neither reliable.

The only HDD hub i have to use is behind an APC UPS, and almost every time i use it i check the power brick before using it.

I've never used EaseUS, i recovered the files everytime using photorec (that does not recover the directories, since it does a low level scan to recover the files) and some partition managers to recover partitions.

When you scan on low level, the program scans the clusters in your hard disk and reads everything. After that, it identifies the files by reading them (not the extension, the file) and saves them as the corresponding type identified.

When you recover the partition, instead, recover the "index", the part of the hard disk that tells where that file starts and where it ends, and how directories are organized on your hard disk. That's why when you recover a partition you get everything back.

I'd say, once you recovered the file, give it a shot. The worst thing you can do is format the disk, and it's something you will do anyway, likely.

Listen, i'll be clear with you: i'm the last man on earth that can explain how to use these program to anyone. I'm really bad at this. You can find every information here http://gparted.org/display-doc.php%3Fname%3Dhelp-manual

If you didn't write on your disk, and you manage to recover all the partition table, you'll find the hard disk AS it was before the errors. So yes, you'll find every directory and every file where they were before.

There are tons of programs that can scan the unallocated space. Find one that suits your needs and go for it. I use photorec.
DON'T WRITE ANYTHING ON IT, Don't format, don't wipe, don't do anything, unless you are sure you tried everything.
You can also try to recover the partition table, and mount that without writing to the disk. An useful tool is a cd or a pen with UBCD on it.

For windows not recognizing the headphones, just install the sound card drivers and software. It's the software that opens a new window asking what have you plugged in (in my case, pic related)

You can solve the problem in 2 ways
    1) buy an external usb sound card WITH 4 PIN JACK (if you take the 3 pin you'll have the same problem)
    2) Buy a splitter that has 2 male 3 pin jacks and 1 female 4 pin jack

They're both pretty cheap, you should be able to find both at less than 10 euros (what is? 11 US dollars?)

Also, there are more expensive USB sound cards, but that's not my business: your money, your decisions
