Did you do anything right before this happened, like mess with the bootloader or something?

Also, in Advanced Options > Startup Settings, if you click Restart, you can try to boot in safe mode, if that works.

no, I didn't I did a big scan on my PC through command prompts.

no because i am not able to go onto my PC but if you have another way i could do it that would be great.

Well, if you have another computer, you could burn a dvd with MSDART on it, then boot from it.

From there (or from a linux live cd) you will be able to see the log, that will point the error.

If it was after a major update, it's a partition error, if it's only after a scan, maybe the antivirus messed up (a false positve, i hope)

What does "big scan" means? What have you done? Antivirus, fscan?
If it was a false positive, you have to fix it, making another scan will not do anything

the scan has 5 stages and searches thoroughly through every file or corrupt, problems etc. it takes about 6 hours. I think the code was bootrec.exe /scanos or bootrec.exe /fixmbr

hope this helps you.

These commands are made to fix the bootloader... and they shouldn't take six hours, more like six seconds each.
