I think your motherboard or PSU might be the cause, maybe both, but that is an odd problem that I have never encountered before.

i recommend you swap the raidmax for a better psu. raidmax power supplies are usually horrible in quality and can quite literally kill your components. try getting a corsair cx450m to replace it.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Hmm, That isn't the great PSU but it should blow up either, sounds like your PC has maybe gone into stand by instead of shutdown, I really don't know much about that kind of error though.

I googled it, it's a known bug with ASUS boards and the BIOS, you'll need to flash the newest version then factory reset the BIOS, that should solve it.

how do you reflash bios?

Do you have anything connected to the USB ports. Either external or internal?

Flashing your bios is a dodgy game and you could end up with a bricked board or a corrupt OS.

You should only do it if needed.

It's not a race to the bottom.

First of all, you go on https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H61MK/HelpDesk_Download/

Then click on BIOS, and download the latest one, 0801

Then, launch the AI SUITE II, it was on the motherboard's CD. In that program you have an UPDATE function, for the BIOS.

BUT, i just realized YOU SHOULD NOT DO THAT:

If the motherboard's anti-surge triggers while you're updating, you'll say goodbye to your motherboard. I know it takes only few minutes, but if it happens in the wrong moment, you're without motherboard.

Can you test the PSU? Can you test it with another PSU? Are the voltages stable and between the 10% of what declared?

IF the power supply is properly working, you can assume it's a software problem, so you can disable the surge protection.
