Download blender and run some rendering benchmarks, in-game benchmarks... or play actual games, haha! Nice rig, btw.

Well I'll be damned.... I checked each of the individual sticks and turns out one is most definitely faulty. Put the other one in the proper slot and now my PC is booting and functioning as though nothing happened. Thanks all for the quick assistance.

This is why even reality tv shows will use black tape to hide the logos of say Ford on a hat.

Why dont you call Mr. Walt Disney himself and ask him, he resides in Glendale California, in Forest Lawn. Bring a shovel, do some work for the man, he'd really appreciate it.

The revolutionary and visionary North Korean company: Myohyang IT, has released exclusively to the region, a new type of computational device that brings a Star Trek innovation idea into reality. More specifically, the Personal Access Data Devices, or PADDs as it is called in the TV show series and books, which is a laptop type of device that is super thin, and light with a touch screen top to bottom, without a keyboard. You type using a on screen keyboard. It allows you to have a PC like experience on this slim and handy form factor.

More specifically it features a touch optimized GUI, with the ability to watch videos on how great the country is, read The Great Leader favorite and highly recommended books, view beautiful picture depicting the wonderful vistas of the country, and the worlds best web browser ever created which is the only one that allows you to view all 25 websites that exists (This web site does not exists).

No information on the OS name exactly, but it is believed to be powered by the groundbreaking, unique, Earth shattering, and simply the best: Red Star OS

The company calls this type of new computational form factor device: Tablet Computers, and the product name in question is called: iPad.

The iPad features mighty performance under the hood to give you the best experience possible. It uses nothing else then the best science-fiction level hardware:
A 1GHz CPU - Super computer speeds right there. 512MB RAM - More RAM than you can dream 8GB eMMC internal storage - Just enough to backup the internet, all of The Great Leader books, and documentary videos on how the great the The Great Leader is. 16GB "external Memory" included to future proof the device for the rest of your life with any potential additional content and websites. 8inch screen All day battery life of 6h. Great to use when the lights turns off when they cannot sustain the greatest of North Korea's Great Leader. The system is feather light at 250g.

This device gets the certification of the The Great Leader, and was in fact designed by him in his dream last night!!!

After you read enough of tech forums and YouTube comments, you find the really funny stuff but also start seeing the repetitive, almost mindless uncreative behavioral patterns.

For every expensive hardware, there's always a "who needs a kidney anyway" joke (sometimes replaced with selling kids)
For every, should I buy this GPU or wait, the answer is "there's always gonna be a new thing around the corner if you don't buy it now, you'll never own anything"

It's amazing how quickly technology advances. Just a year ago I built my new system with a 6700K. I thought I had it made with 4 cores/8 threads and now here comes a friggin' family of CPUs that put mine to shame...

    Here's my suggestions:

    1. Check the airflow of your case. How many fans do you have? Is there dust buildup?
    2. Check to make sure the heatsink is properly mounted.
    3. Check the thermal paste. If you've been using your PC for a while, it could be time for some new thermal paste.
    4. If steps 1-3 don't help, invest in a new cooler. The stock Intel ones may be suited for cooling it somewhat, but they aren't the best for long term use.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help.

A Third Party's Look At The Nintendo Switch's Phone-Based Voice Chat Is A Technological Monstrosity | Forbes
'Splatoon 2' voice chat leaves us asking: What exactly is Nintendo smoking? | Mashable

I seriously need to know why the majority at Nintendo thought a solution like this is good.  For a game console that's supposed to be good for portability and on-the-go stuff, this set up is the complete opposite. Not only that, a setup like this won't work when the console is docked, unless you buy extension cables, dongles, etc.

When you're on the go, you're set up has to be clean.  When you're working with a laptop at a coffee shop or somewhere in public, you don't want wires surrounding you.  It's hard to keep track and it's plain messy.

If they think that offloading chat will save battery, then I'd prefer having battery banks charging the console than this solution.

This is 2017.  Something like voice chat on a game console should be part of the device. Especially if you want customers to pay for your online services.

Nintendo better explain themselves soon.  Cuz this is plain stupidity.

As far as headphones go, the law of diminishing returns applies greatly to most headphones above the $100 price point. I personally own the Audio Technica ATH-M40X. It cost me $100 and provides solid all around audio and dynamic frequency range for gaming, video editing, sound recording, etc. I'd recommend saving $200 and getting those and and the ModMic. Hope this helps!

Eazy Cheezy reacted to Electronics Wizardy in Fix Dead Pixels in JVC Camcorder
you can't fix a dead pixel easily, the easiest way is to switch the sensor, and you shouldn't do that without a clean room and knowing exactly how it works.

In software you can make a ae script that would replace that pixel with the average around it, but the best idea is just ot buy a new one.

Eazy Cheezy got a reaction from m.attway in Geforce GTX Graphics Cards
Nvidia has been naming their GPUs with this number scheme for years. Each new generation starts with a new hundreds prefix. So, currently, the 10-series cards are the newest, most power-efficient cards they have to offer. The 9-series were the previous, less powerful, more power-hungry, generation and so forth. I would have to highly encourage you to try to spend the little extra and get a 1060 (even with 3GB of video memory). If you overspend a bit now, you'll most likely have less of an itch to upgrade in the long run. Before owning a 1070, I would always choose raw horsepower over how much VRAM a card has. Hope I was able to help.
