Fix Dead Pixels in JVC Camcorder

Hey all,

So I work for an internet-based station and we have 6 JVC GY-HM710U camcorders. Many of them have very noticeable dead pixels on the sensors. We've tried a few fixes and although my boss has given up, I refuse! So, I figured the fine folks over on the LTT forums might be able to give me a hand with this conundrum. This sucks in particular due to the fact that we recently started live streaming shows "professionally". Any help/suggestions to fix this issue is/are appreciated! :)

If it is the sensor itself, there is nothing you can do

If they are still under warranty, return them

If no, R.I.P.

you can't fix a dead pixel easily, the easiest way is to switch the sensor, and you shouldn't do that without a clean room and knowing exactly how it works.

In software you can make a ae script that would replace that pixel with the average around it, but the best idea is just ot buy a new one.
