If I'm going to upgrade a CPU in the future I'll go with 6th gen or 7th gen or whatever will be most up to date, and also make a jump to DDR4

M20, 30 and 40 don't sound that much different from eachother, The M40x has a detchable cable where the M30x doesn't, the M30X has bigger drivers than the M20X, M40X's bigger than the M30X etc.

Depends on what you are looking for, M50X's are decent.

I have 100 mb download and 10 mb upload for 300 kr a month, which is about 35 US dollars. Scandinavia is awesome! And I have the ability to go 1000 mb download 250 mb upload for about 100 dollars a month

and I change to this build:
Intel Core i5 6600K
ASUS Maximus VIII Hero
Corsair Dominator Platinum 2x8GB
 
Will I see much performance improvement, and is it worth the extra cash?
