Need quick replacement for dead m50's

So my m50's and m30's headphones died this month and all I have left is a v moda crossfade lp 2.

 

What's the major difference between the m20/30/40x and the Sony MDR7506?  Also any other recommendations need a studio reference headphones quick.

M20, 30 and 40 don't sound that much different from eachother, The M40x has a detchable cable where the M30x doesn't, the M30X has bigger drivers than the M20X, M40X's bigger than the M30X etc.


Depends on what you are looking for, M50X's are decent.

If you plan to get the m50x, just get the m40x instead and save a few bucks
