EpicNinja got a reaction from Burz in GTX 760 Price?
So I'm trying to sell my Reference GeForce GTX 760, but I'm not sure about what price to make it. I've had it for about a year, bought it new. Lightly overclocked, nothing too serious.
    Any suggestions?

I have to say, the MadCatz STRIKE series is pretty ugly...

It's possible the cards were loosened from the slots. I call it "card creep" personally, and it's pretty common if you move your system around a lot. It usually happens more often in cheaper cases with weak structural support around the rear I/O, but it can happen in more expensive cases as well.
It's likely just re-seating the cards; not even swapping, would have fixed the issue. If it comes back again however then suspect a damaged card although that usually presents itself with strange colored fragments (artifacts) and white squares appearing.

Pretty much, just swap everything over and you should be fine.

Ohhhhhhhhh yeah. Not as much a fiery explosion, just a pop with lots of toxic chemicals.

Yup done that before. Pretty scary when it sounds like a snake hissing shooting fire

Cutting both wires of a Lithium-Polymer battery at the same time. It shorted out and I had to throw it out my window before it exploded in my face.

Looking on nVidia's website, they show the stats on the GTX 760. On most games, SLI was 75% to 100% Better than the single card. (I have a 760 right now.) I went with the dual 950s because two of those is actually quite comparable to the 970 and 980 (not the VRAM though. 2 gigs is enough for me right now.)

How do those stand up against a single 960 or 970 (or AMD pendant)? Any specific reasons, why you opted for SLI instead of the usual "go-for-the-highest-single-card"-blabla? Looks? (Two cards do look better than one^^ )
Not meant as criticism, just curious

The OST is epic, currently my main studying music^^ (Though it even was included in the Steam version, both high-res and mp3, it's even on SPotify by now )

Well honestly if you have already a GTX760 and you could get another one for a reasonable price, I´d get the 2nd 760 and call it a day. Make sure your PSU can support the extra Wattage demand though.

A second 760 would be better. You might get some slight bottlenecking, though.

Buy another card, you'll get a lot more extra performance with that than just a watercool overclock. However, you can expect a pretty bad bottleneck with that 6300, so it's a wash either way.
