It's fine, I'm just worried about the CapXon's on the secondary of the PSU getting a bit more of their - already short - lifespan lost than normal

If you want to use "low end parts" don't use low end power supplies or low end motherboards, they are both components that you should spend 60-70$ on a model from a reputable brand

Go with the one @TheRandomnesssugested, It's much more balanced when it comes to the ratio betwern CPU and GPU power, and with the better power supply and (probably) better built case it should last longer and be quieter than the one you initially wanted to buy

    Enough said
"Any supply" is not good enough for ANY computer.
You need a GOOD QUALITY PSU from a REPUTABLE MANUFACTURER like Seasonic, Super Flower or FSP, for that system he should get AT LEAST a Tier 5 PSU from this thread here at linustechtips.com

You REALLY should buy a decent power supply, that's the issue.
That is not a recognizable brand so I'd say the PSU probably doesn't like it being loaded pretty much as much as it can, if you tell me where you're from I can recommend you a decent power supply for not a lot more than you paid for that sketchy Nitrox PSU

And really tier 4/5 and up should be the minimum for a 960

When I first ordered the parts for my PC I thought the PSU bundled in the case would be OK.
I did a bit more research and I felt like a complete moron and instantly bought a decent (but I'm not 100% happy with it) PSU, now my favourite reading are PSU reviews.

It's a low end PSU, some people even say that the Corsair CX and VS are total crap, they aren't exactly total crap, but there really are much better options at the same price

carzacc got a reaction from PCGuy_5960 in Corsair CX series PSU
People hate CX PSU's because at the same price there are better PSU's.
There are various "series" of Corsair CX PSU's that have the same name, and they often change a LOT quality-wise.

It's 100% normal for CS:GO players to get way more FPS than their monitor can display

You need to tell Windows to not update drivers on it's own.
Go to This Computer > System Properties > Advanced System Settings > Click the Hardware tab > Click the Device Installation Settings button under the heading of the same name > Click No and then save changes.

I've done that and it has never updated any drivers on my machine since I updated and there have been several updates that have come out that I've decided to pass on.

carzacc reacted to don_svetlio in Difference between parallel and perpendicular heatsinks on GPUs?
There is little to no difference - it just slightly alters the air exhaust direction - nothing else. Cooling will bee good regardless as the 960 is too weak to push out any real heat. Honestly though, why are you even buying a 960? Pascal and Polaris are here, it will soon be driver-gimped to the level of a 1040

carzacc got a reaction from don_svetlio in Difference between parallel and perpendicular heatsinks on GPUs?
He just underlined how the 960 is absolutely not worth it and you questioned part of what he said, that's not like most of the thread is about how much NVIDIA sucks.

If as the "crystal ball" you are talking about the fact that they will get gimped we have past evidence that NVIDIA does it
