Unfortunately, no. I seemed to have missed that part of your spec sheet.
It does cover everything else on your spec sheet though.

If you do need a touchscreen, this is also a decent laptop, especially when it is on sale:
    HP Envy 13.3: https://www.costco.com/hp-envy-13.3"-touchscreen-intel-evo-platform-laptop---11th-gen-intel-core-i7-1165g7---1080p---windows-11.product.100794663.html
Decent warranty from Costco Touchscreen Great touchpad (although not as good as the Framework's (according the specs of the framework's touchpad)) Backlit Keyboard Fingerprint sensor USB-C Charging Small bezels Thunderbolt Large SSD for price (1TB) (although may be slower, (or worse, chachless) compared to the other listed laptop) -Not Many Ports (no HDMI or other display outputs without thunderbolt adapter) -Smallish battery -Cheap-feeling keycaps; although very good overall typing experience -A bit more chassis flex than I would personally like -Reparability is not, by any means, a thing on this laptop. (Which is an issue for longevity.)
With how this laptop is configured, the laptop is only $800*
My recommendation: HP's laptops in the last year or so have been extremely competitively priced. The Envy 13 ba1095cl is a great Windows laptop that I have used a bit. In my experience, HP laptops have not been the most reliable laptops. However, while they work, they typically work well.

I would highly recommend the Framework Laptop: https://frame.work/
Not only is a good deal price wise (for the most part anyway), but it should last much longer than most laptops as you can replace and possibly upgrade anything in the future.
You should also be able to spec it pretty much anyway you want storage wise.

I'm going to make a lot of people mad at me but I'm a 10 year linux user so fuck it:  DO NOT USE MINT.  In general it has a lot of problems if you're trying to get a lot of performance out of your machine.  Its odd now that I think about it because its almost on the same LTS schedule as android with its kernel on 4.4 and 8 being on 4.2 or something.

Depending on what you want to do I would look at 3 distros in total:  Ubuntu - Fedora - Antergos.  Ubuntu is Debian based, Fedora is Red Hat based, and Antergos is Arch based.  These are the 3 main desktop competitors with new users (not saying others aren't out there, these are just the main 3 atm) and each have their advantages and disadvantages.

If you're just looking for a new OS to play with for a while then just go with Ubuntu and do your thing.  I'm on Ubuntu right now seeing what features are going to be in 18.04 when it drops.  If you wanna get into programming or heavy computery stuff like that Fedora is a good place to start.  Then Arch is...  well arch.  You learn how linux goes together and how it works with your computer.  Though its a little harder because you HAVE TO KEEP ANTERGOS/ARCH UP TO DATE.

    So, I hop that helps.

Linux Mint used to be great. Sad to say, not anymore. I mainly used Mint as it shipped with Wine built in to run windows programs. But it crashes.

    Go with Ubuntu instead.

So you installed Windows 8.1 and upgraded to Windows 10? Could you try to do a clean Windows 10 installation? That could solve issue for you.
You can turn off automatic updates though registry hack or blocking the program though firewall or applying a patch.

Best solution will be to not install a beta OS. Windows 10 isn't ready yet. Maybe once service pack 1 comes out, it'll be fixed...

If that's enough to kill a CPU, then all my CPUs are dead. I never ground myself while working on my computers for the last 10 years and I've yet to kill a single item.

    +1 to that.
Changing GPU should fix the issue.

    1. Get the best RAM you can, 1866MHz/CL9 or better! Most boards in 2015 should support up to 2133MHz, weaker CPUs benefit more from faster RAM but you should not pay to much for the RAM sticks.

    2. The cast latency(CL) should be lower and not higher!
(1600MHz/1866MHz should have CL9 or less, anything above that should only be bought if you are on a budget or do not mind a FPS loss)

You can use a linux live CD (such as ubuntu live CD) to run gparted to extend the existing partition to full size. You can boot most live CD off USBs.

if youre not overclocking and you dont care about looks or silence then aftermarket coolers are pointless for you, the stock cooler will do just fine

aftermarket coolers are basically to address all the things you dont care about lol
