Dewam reacted to NumLock21 in AMD ZEN based server chip, pictured
Amd's server cpu based on the zen architecture has been leaked. Code name naples, it has 32 cores and 64 threads. 512mb of L3, and it runs at 1.4GHz, turbo up to 2.8GHz. We might get more info at AMD's New Horizon event

Could you elaborate it better? in PC's a dedicated graphics card vram can not be shared with the system ram, nor the system ram shared with the dedicated vram of the graphic card. If you're using iGPU however you can increase/decrease depending on the bios how much of the system ram will be dedicated to the on board graphics (iGPU).

Now if you're trying to increase the vram on a Playstation 4 I am pretty much sure you can't do it.

No, the only thing you will have to do is switch it and apply new cooling pasta.

Dewam got a reaction from Hotpeppa1 in Having problems with the crew
Just to take this thread to an end. The guy from Ubisoft came up with a solution that worked. It had nothing to do with drivers or anything. All I had to do was to create a new local user on my computer (it had to be an administrator user) and run the crew on this. It worked out quite well (had to find the game in the file explorer first though). It still doesnt work on my main user, but I can live with it (I have clearified this small issue to the guy from Ubisoft, still waiting for his respond).

So if you have the same problem as me, you may try tthis simple solutuion

I had the same problem with my GTX 950, turns out my drivers were too new for The Crew causing the game to "stop working", this was fixed by finding a older driver that worked.

Dewam reacted to Arhke in RAM question
I had the RAM in the recommended slots, but windows only picked up 8GB.
In A1 and A2 it picked up 16GB.

Well, i guess i solved it by just tinkering with it. Now windows picks up 16GB in A2 and B2.
Thanks anyways guys, i appreciate the fast respose

It does about as much as you can expect a thin membrane to do. They're not magic, so they're not going to offer much in the way of impact protection. A full case is what you'd want for that sort of protection.

Yeah, you're right, I have no idea how much RAM they actually have. I'll go through all the mods again and see what I actually use.

Are you sure those people dont have like 128gb of ram?

No, but seriously. 1000 mods and assets takes up a lot of processor power and memory.

What about the Logitech G502? the sensor is awesome and i use it at the MGE/Pre LEM level at csgo.

Its a bit heavy at 127 grams but you should get used to it over time and i actually prefer it kinda. Knowing that my mouse isn't made of cheap shit xD.
But if you don't want it you can go for the Zowie

    Hope this helps

I would go from a gtx 950 to a 960 since it does not cost that much more. Also I would go for a I5 or at least a I3, since the Pentium would be underpowered compared to the rest of the system. Good luck!

GPU's have GDDR, it's not related in any way and doesn't matter. Any mobo will work.

We everybody think the same thing, "should i upgrade to windows 10?" And then we all go: "ahh... I see many people are having troubles, i will wait..." Short said: You are afraid that your pc might stop working. Off course there are many people that have problems, but you can always go back to your earlier operating system. I just upgraded from windows 8.1, no problems! All my earlier games works. I made this post just to say that not everyone are having problems with Windows 10. It looks great and works great. 10/10! Windows 10 is worth "the risk" (the fact that you can go back to your earlier operating system makes that it is actually is not a risk) I am using a new build btw.
