notenoughtv got a reaction from Fonil in I think picking speakers is really hard..
I highly recommend the Audioengine 2 speakers. They are pretty compact and have amazing reviews. I have a pair myself. You can also get them in black

notenoughtv reacted to ARod in Ducky Shine II TKL Chinese Characters
For those contemplating a Ducky board but can't seem to find the normal US standard layout readily available, consider the Chinese layout. It's US Standard English but has the Chinese characters below the English characters. It's a bit sublime too as the LED very faintly lights up the Chinese characters. Looks very nice IMO. Here are a couple close up picks, this one is MX Brown with Blue backlight(obviously).

I would use the rear fan as an intake to maintain the positive air pressure inside the case. Get a Fan filter though
The build is looking really good. How did you secure the front rad?

I just wanted to say that Dan Carlin's Hardcore History series of podcasts is pretty damn awesome.
That is all.

notenoughtv got a reaction from Reuben in Best 140mm fan for radiator
You need pressure optimized fans for radiators so the AF140 won't we good for that. Look at something like Gelid wing 14's or the silverstone AP141

notenoughtv reacted to IVIeLt in USB 3.0 Header sleeving
I'm not concerned about the header itself, but how to actually get the cables sleeved and then through each hole. Cutting and soldering it back together might be a pretty good idea though. I might do it all close as I can to the pcb at the front and push my sleeving back so I can put some heatshrink over each soldered cable and then push the sleeving back over the top and then heatshrink the whole cable so you cant see under it. Make it look as neat as possible.
Thanks for the idea!

notenoughtv got a reaction from IVIeLt in USB 3.0 Header sleeving
I would just cut it let's say 1/4 of the length from where it starts in the case and then just sleeve the part that goes to the MB. Then solder it back together and put a little heat shrink for not to look so terrible. Then you have 3/4 of the cable sleeved.
For the header itself you could probably paint it the same color as the sleeving or just leave it black (I would go with black)
I hope I explained myself properly and that it can help
Cheers

I think that on the latest iMacs you can only upgrade the ram, so an aftermarket ssd is probably not an option
