Air cooling looks better!

heineygoat

Every self contained cpu liquid cooler looks the same, no matter what brand or model they're all pretty similar and boring. A rad, a tube and a block.

But air coolers are so much more interesting with different innovations and designs, my personal favorite is the SpinQ by Thermaltake.

Does anyone else know of some sweet looking air coolers to support my opinion? Or is it just me?

Function > form. I disagree with you. I also like seeing the mobo/ram etc. much more.

I prefer water cooling. Air cooling do have some crazy designs, but maybe theyr just trying to make up for something they dont have by being outlandishly crazy.

My opinion was that they look better, not function better.

I like the clean look that water cooling provides rather than just seeing a giant rad above your cpu covering half your mobo

I'd have one of these in my system over a water cooler any day ;)

Yeah, and my opinion is that that water coolers are better in both respects. That's what my comment meant.

Sandia sucks...

I like air coolers too, the Noctua NH-D14 makes any build look cool with it's sheer massiveness.

It's subjective, for me I don't like how much space air cooling takes up- when we talk about enthusiast grade air cooling. You're left with a more crowded interior.
