If you had previously another card with different drivers be sure to uninstall everything before installing the new ones, and disable integrated graphics if you were using those previously.

Are you sure it freezes? Sometimes it just takes REALLY long, like 20+ minutes to jump from 2% to 50% or something.

Ty for responses. To try and answer:

@Captain_WD the motherboard is beeping now. She was giving me standby light, powerup light, power to the fans, and was responding to the CMOS clear, so i was having a hard time thinking of mobo as the problem. While i was away from home, i thought of the simplest of things, the speaker itself. So i went down to the garage, made a hole in an older case i had lying around so i could connect its beeper thru the back of my current case and into the mobo, just to eliminate yet another possibility, and there ya go, the speaker on my current case is a goner, would be that conclusion.

@mike2156 capacitors are fine, or at least they seem to be. Non that i can see is bloated or burst, they seem as new. The P5B DLX was some 200$, it better have some good quality capacitors. Ive also repositioned the CMOS jumper back to pin 1 and 2 after the clear, yes.

    Other info gathered meanwhile:

    - I thought of checking the battery and its good as new too. Multimeter reads 3.21v out of it.

    - With beeping, i can assume the E8400 is also working correctly, and seated properly.

    - The system now beeps if i remove parts (gfx, ram), but with everything on, there is no beeping, and no booting either.

    - I have tried the GFX card on the second PCI-E slot, no beep, no boot. Tried the 8800 GT as well, same results.

I have yet to test the RAM ,will try all sorts with it, to see if any conclusion arises. If anyone else would like to pitch in, would be appreciated. Could use all the help i can get.

The laptop won't draw more than it's designed to. There are safeguards built into the charging circuit to prevent that.
If the power supply put out less than stock then it would be an issue. Using a higher wattage supply is common practice with MSI gaming laptops, but usually only when you've swapped GPU cards out for a more powerful model*. Some laptops came with a 150W adapter while the bigger ones come with 180W, and they are interchangeable.

ie: going from a GTX 570m to a GTX 780m for example.

I don't think so as I believe it only does a snapshot of the windows partition, however I may be wrong. Never come across it though.

Although yes, that's by far the best option to start off with, then once you have a fresh copy of Windows and have removed all of the software from the hard drive follow the instructions in the thread i linked.

Try Manually running stuff like Mbam, some programs detect issues with the install and either repair them automatically or prompt you to repair them, however you will find a few programs that will just simply not run and will have to be deleted.

The subject of moving libraries to a different drive is a good one, I personally do it as my first SSD was a 60gig and my mech is a 1tb, however i do the it cheaty way and completely change the location of the folders.

WAIT HOLD UP. WE DONT WANT LINUS'S PERSONAL PC. The case has a lot of meaning to him guys. It was a gift from his wife. I believe it was the first gift from her too.
EDIT: Thanks for all the likes guys! Hopefully Linus or someone from LMG will read this and this will make Linus keep his build. Even if the goal of 100k is made we should convince Linus to do another build maybe, with signatures from the whole LMG family and maybe even his wife. This would let Linus keep the build he has with the special case his wife gave him. Besides, his personal PC would be more special to him than us.
