RMD80 reacted to GaugeBoson in New build - Windows 10 cannot find media drivers
Alright guys, found the culprit. Something in the process of creating the bootable Win10 USB failed (I had repeated it a couple of time, so something in the online tutorials is wrong). I ordered a Win10 USB stick from Newegg and that worked perfectly fine. Thanks for the brainstorming though!

RMD80 reacted to CDL Hazamat in New build - Windows 10 cannot find media drivers
The last thing I can think of is to verify the usb. Checksum the download and re-dd. Also try changing the format on the usb, I can't remember offhand but maybe ntfs is what Win10 likes? I always use 1mb block size too however, have had some luck in the past by increasing that although I highly doubt that's the problem here.
Best of luck. @RMD80 has covered everything else I can think of as well.

There is currently no HDD connected (don't have one at hand), only the M.2. Windows is not yet installed.
The NVMe slot seems to be enabled though because I can see the M.2 as Boot Option #2 (where Boot Option #1 is the bootable USB stick with Windows 10 on it).

Yes the pictures are incoming. I ran into some trubble with a micro sd card in my phone that decided to stop working. Thursday I will take new photos with loop full and all things lit. Untill then i can only post pics that i mailed my friend (only copy i have atm). I will also buy a micro sd card reader for the pc so i can try and restore the photos taken.
All are aluminium that i cut out and then brushed using sandpaper then scotch brite except the MB that i painted using a airbrush and aluminium paint.
Dont take this as a finished pic.... It is still far from done when i took this:

You will use MakeMKV to pull the info off of the CD. That will produce an MKV file.
You take that file and put it into Handbrake and encode it. That will spit out a smaller mp4 file.

I am over 500 movies and shows deep so it works very well.
Select only the stuff you need in the DVD then that will produce an MakeMKV file.
You will take that file and put it into Handbrake. Typically the standard settings work fine but you may want to play with it to get the file size you like.

Higher bitrates result in better image quality, assuming the source (DVD) bitrate is reasonably high. 3-9Mbit/s is typical of DVD video.
Also unless I'm mistaken, DVD is typically 480p. The only way that'll ever get to 720p is through up-scaling while ripping the DVD, which won't really look as good.

DVDFab can work pretty well... But...
Are you looking for images of the disc, or is just having the main feature what you are after? Is storage space going to be a problem(number of films)?
There is a program called MakeMkv that allows you make a lossless copy of a main feature (just the movie). It is a little more hands on but it is pretty easy to use.

makemkv is REALLY easy to use.

RMD80 reacted to ericlee30 in PSU Sleeving
IF you want it to look as clean as it can get, you will have to take the PSU apart and sleeve it that way
For an example, here is a pic of my Daughters PSU in progress, Still waiting on the purple to arrive so i can finish it.
I have seen people put a thick peace of heatshrink at the end of the PSU because they do not want to open it and man does that way really look ugly and not clean at all.

RMD80 reacted to Oseirus in Strange problerm Help me please :-(
I'm kinda shooting in the dark here, but it's also possible your USB 2.0 ports are shorting out or damaged somehow. Take a real good look at the ports themselves, make sure there aren't any missing or bent contacts, and give it a quick shot with some compressed air to see if dust or anything might have gotten in there somehow. Check their attachment to the mobo as well, make sure it isn't loose or cracked. If all that appears fine, then at least you've narrowed it down to a driver or controller issue.

Update the firmware on the mouse itself.

I have never seen this problem before, and I have used the Rampage IV Extreme in 4 build by now.
As said above, try booting into safe mode. Also do you have the latest drivers installed and are there any ""unknown devices" in you Device manager?

RMD80 reacted to Whaler_99 in Strange problerm Help me please :-(
For Fault #1 - I think it may have been some maleware/spyware. Now that you reformatted, should be ok. If still slow, could be a controller issue on the board.

I don't think so but it's worth a shot.
Did you try booting into safe-mode?

The bet advice i can give you is systematically go through everything in the system, testing it troubleshooting one at a time so you can eliminate certain things so you're not doing so much guesswork.

I would try a fresh install of Windows and try a different OS like Ubuntu to see if it causes these problems.
