asus pre installed io shield issues

Hi

 

Just wanted to know if any one else has had this problem with the asus pre installed io shield. I am building my new rig when i install the mobo in into the case and the mobo mounting holes do not line up with the stand off posts!

 

• Mobo ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XI EXTREME Intel Socket 1151
• Case Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X 

I have tryed an old mobo in the new case and that fits and the new mobo in an old case and it dose not fit

So first find out where its being blocked by, then take picture of that.
Now its pretty useless unless someon with exact same case and mobo had that problem...

I have tried the new mobo in an old case and it dose not fit

Well i not hve this case or mobo, so without GOOD pictures no one (unless they have the same combo) will be able to help.

So help yourself first, by making better photo's.

Well after half a yr I figured it out the io sheild on the mb has a lip that's spose to go behind the mother bored. used some pliers to carefully bend it and it fits
