Lately I've been noticing a tiny (pun) trend in Mini ITX Cases involving water cooling. And, to be honest, I AM LOVING THEM. Good luck, and stay focused on schoolwork! Trust me, my Freshman year in college is going roughly because I keep getting distracted by builds!

Can't wait to see what you have in store for us! Have fun

    Hi all,
I will be building a custom water-cooled mini-itx pc inside of the Fractal Design Nano S. (I will be doing a soft tubing build this time as I fancy a change from my previous hardline builds)
The theme for this project will be a crisp blue and nickel coloured idea with chrome fittings and blocks where possible,
Also I will be trying to fit dual reservoirs into the build for aesthetic reasons.
The main feature of this build however will be to achieve the lowest noise possible as I'm a real noise freak when it comes to PC's
This build will be a slow project for me as Im at University so its not a main priority atm, but stay tuned for more details and first pics!

    Parts:
Case - Fractal Design Nano S
Motherboard - Msi Z170I Gaming Pro AC
Cpu - i7 6700K/Ek supremacy Evo Nickel block

    SSD - 2 x 512Gb Transend SSD370's
Lighting - Nanoxia White Rigid led strips

    Watercooling Parts:
    Radiators - XSPC EX 240mm & XSPC EX 280mm
    Fans - 5 x AeroCool DS 120mm/140mm Blue fans
Pump - Laing DDC with Nickel top/heatsink
    Reservoirs - 2 x Phobya Balancers Silver Nickel 250mm
Blocks - All EK waterblocks nickel/plexi
Coolant - EK Ekoolant Evo UV Blue
Fittings - Combination of Bitspower and EK fittings
Tubing - Primochill Advanced LRT Clear 1/2ID by 3/4OD

Thanks for your help man I managed to fix it as you said using the top port as a input, I just used a T block so I can have a fill port as well as a return moved the drain to the bottom port. The loop bled itself of air in like 15 mins lol soo good!

    Hi everyone,

I am thinking of a small business idea,  and I have been doing some research and found out that no one is doing flat packed desks which house a
full gaming pc/server with Speakers, water cooling support etc,  besides DIY modders. The only company I have found that used to do it was Red
Harbinger with there 'cross desk '  and they only shipped within the US instead of internationally. Unfortunately they have ceased production of it and
it leaves the market wide open.

Does anyone think there could be a potential  for something like this? Its similar to what Parvum Systems do with there products. i.e flat-packed computer cases
would love some feedback on this

    Project: Monster ITX!

Warning: This is a long term project and will take a couple months to complete as its a build in my spare time project, so sit back and enjoy the ride.

Welcome to my current Build Log! this PC is designed to be highly aesthetic / extremely silent and as awesome as possible!
Let me start by saying that this build will feature a fully Acrylic water cooling loop with excessive radiator surface area. This level of cooling / cost and work is entirely unnecessary for a PC, But who cares! we build extreme rigs for the fun and adventure of it all.

    The Hardware:
Case labs Mercury S3 Black Surrounded with XL Windows. Including Pedestal Case (Black)
    Intel i7 4790K CPU
    Asus Maximus VII Impact Motherboard
Evga Super Nova G2 1000W PSU
    XFX R9 295x2 Graphics Card
    16GB Hyper X fury 1866Mhz Ram
    Samsung 850 Evo 500gb SSD
    WD Black 3TB HDD x2
Possible Slim-Blu ray Drive (modded in, Undecided)

    The Water cooling Parts:
EK DDC pump with Bitspower Magic Cube Top
    EK 250 X3 Res
    EK Supremacy Evo (clear/nickel)
    EK R9 295x2 Waterblock/backplate (clear/nickel)
    Alpha cool XT45 240mm Radiator
    Alphacool UT 60 280mm Radiator x2
9 140mm Fans and 2 120mm Fans (Undervolted sub 1000rpm, undecided on Brands)
    Assorted Bitspower Fittings
EK HD Tube 16-13mm clear Acrylic.

All Cables will be Custom sleeved by myself (first-time sleeving virgin lol)

I am also as of yet undecided on the colour scheme so cast your opinions on what would look good as long as it suits the black case

I hope you all enjoy the build Log, and follow for more exiting updates!

So I've been looking up some things and I've seen that an R9 295x2 will fit inside a 250D with an EK Waterblock fitted
And it just so happens I have 1 lying around!
So this is now the Watercooled R9 295x2 Mini ITX Build
It saves me buying a 980ti so I can wait for The Pascel generation of GPU'S
I'll get more performance from this card than a 980ti at 4K I think.
With this build I'am also going to be modifying the side panels to have extra large windows to show off the insides!

Not saying the PSU shouldn't be that high, just correcting you.
I personally wouldn't run that system on anything less than 1.3kw myself.
Dude is gonna have a fucking furnace.

I just figured that even if a 1k power supply managed to keep these card supplied, they wouldn't cope when you increased the voltage.
