It was all in an H440, but i took it out as the power button doesnt work, so want to send it back and to get fixed.
Also load temps where 55-60 in there with 360mm front as intake and 240mm top and intake (also tried outtake).
Temps are a lot better that its not in the case.

I was kinda worried about my temps hitting 51c ingame, and this kinda made me feel a little bit better.
Ambient temps are a huge factor when it comes to watercooling, so that's my temps are kinda poop.
Although, I'm running 2 240mm rads. (CPU + GPU loop, nothing fancy there, loop order is res>pump>front rad>GPU>CPU>upper rad>back to res)
(still, a single 120mm rad could easily cool a 970, since its TDP is pretty low)


Also, temps here in Brazil are kinda retarded (at least where I live, winter is around 10c and summer close to 40c)
Aaaand, sorry for the thread revival, I think it's for a good reason. 

Didn't you have a locker you could have put it in with a lock on it? High School students usually have zero if any respect for each other or their personal belongings. Well, that also strongly depends on the student and their morals. Anyway, you shouldn't have brought that expensive to laptop school and have let it out of your sight. I cant even tell you how many lost items I have found during school that people in my class told me I should have just taken instead. I remember one time I finding a wallet loaded with cash in between the seats in the theater room and some kid told me I should have just taken the cash and try to using the credit cards. I'm sorry to say but that laptop is long gone. Hopefully whoever stole it won't even make it past the login screen and doesn't even know what a hard drive is or whoever it's sold to.

You're just now learning this?  Thats why I don't buy shit that releases DLC the day after releasing the game and I don't pre-order anything.

So, Im sure you've all heard about Battlefront that comes with ONLY 4 MAPS and NO campaign Is going to cost 60USD, and If you want another 4 maps In DLC you'll have to buy a season pass for 60USD (seperate DLC's probably even more), and the new Tomb Raider game will have over 300 microtransactions, yes you read that correctly, 3-0-0. This Is Insane, and Im not buying Battlefront as a protest, and I hope people here aswell will see reason. Maybe next they will start charging us to play at higher resolutions and framerates, "BUY THE BATTLEFRONT 2 DELUXE EDITION and experience the game at 1080p 60FPS..."

Nvidias features are good, but my next card will most likely be an AMD card.

Wheres the I dont care option.  Current card-AMD 7970, Last card-Nvidia GTX 570.  Whatever offers better price/performance for my budget is what card I choose..

Well after 17 hours it is discharged

Pound for pound, this card is a great performer. Low power consumption, good overclocks and buying it was a no brainer decision really. Nice score.

Overclock the card when it's new, to see what it'll do. Then run it at stock settings until that overclock is needed down the road. That way it'll give you longevity and value for your money.

I think version 1 will cool the card better. But you will loose your warrenty for sure. And the card is new and quite expensive. So you migth (should) keep it.
 
When you remove the plate you schould add a liite heatsinks for the FET's as well. When you send me a picture of the card without the plate i can mark the FET's for you...

Yeah, that's that mix of human Demetrius (mainly dead skin cells), and dust I mentioned. Human skins cells are seriously oily, and they're everywhere. Seriously though, even a good vacumn cleaner might manage a few PSi pressure. A good air compressor, or a can of compressed air will put out 30-40 easily. It's what I use to clean out the filters in my rig.

What about a gold plasti-dipped backplate
