    Cheap SSDs disappeared

Adata drives are still $100 on newegg. My guess is that 1TB drive was on sale and the sale ended. https://pcpartpicker.com/products/internal-hard-drive/#A=960000000000,15360000000000&t=0&sort=price&page=1

    Networking help

Yep. Simple 5 port switch is what I recommend. https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Ethernet-Unmanaged-Protection-FS105NA/dp/B00002EQCW/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=5+port+switch&qid=1550707292&s=gateway&sr=8-9

    Networking help

As long as they are all connected to the same router (ignore switches) they will be on the same network.
  5. Dedicated PhysX cards aren't really that useful anymore. I'd flip it for cash or keep it for another Pc if you have one.

    Esc key muting mic?

What mic are you using? What programs is it muting in? (Assuming all but want to make sure.) What third party software do you have installed for audio?

    Is it bottlenecking?

Task manager reports stock speeds correctly, breaks when reporting overclocked CPU clocks, but I've still seen fairly close readings for many games I've played. Within 5% of Afterburner for games I've had to troubleshoot (R6, Apex, CS, etc.)

    Is it bottlenecking?

Task manager gives him a ballpark. I'm giving him an option that doesn't require him to install a different program. To each their own though.
  9. Brink2Three

    Is it bottlenecking?

Open task manager to the Performance tab while playing, then check your CPU usage when playing. If your CPU is hitting 100% when playing a game, then yes. It is bottle-necking.

    FTP SERVER

    You google it. https://www.google.com/search?q=ftp+server+setup+windows+10&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS776US776&oq=FTP+server+set&aqs=chrome.2.69i57j0l5.3783j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  11. The UM2 should be fine. Most Audio interfaces have a decent headphone amp so you should be fine.

    Making Money

Building PCs is a niche thing. Not many people need that done and the ones that do usually go with people that already have a reputation behind them. Linus did the "Summer Job" 2 part series for making money for PCs. iirc, most US employers aren't allowed to hire you at 15, so if you did any work outside of things like this it would have to be under the table.

    iGpu help

I would just buy adapters and plug all monitors into your 1080. The other option is to add all of your games to the "High performance" Graphics profile in windows. Linus had to do this in his "Graphics card with no video outputs????" Video. I'll find a link if you want.

is raid a thing i should do?

first off, you can't use raid on any of these drives. Raid likes to have the same capacity drives, and performance suffers if you have drives at different speeds (NVMe vs SATA SSD, etc.) Second, Raid isn't really necessary anymore. Most drives are fast enough as is. So no. Don't use raid with them. Please.

    Is my UserBenchmark score ok?

It's lower then the ones on Usermark, but my guess is your overclock is probably lower then average. Most 8700k CPUs that I see are running somewhere between 4.7GHz and 5.1GHz. What's your overclock at?
