The difference is significant to me, and it's not placebo either.

gwertheim got a reaction from Technous285 in Wait, so if Canada doesn't have pennies...
bottom line it was more expensive to make the pennies than what they are worth so it was about time

As a Canadian, i can confirm this and my pockets are alot lighter for it

I'd go with the 5d mk 3
sharper colors and the mk 2 is still used to shoot tv shows and other projects
the other stuff is good but you want to stick with prime (non zoom) lenses unless needed because it will be a crisper picture
I've had bad experience with 3rd party chargers and batteries in my cameras, i only use canon stuff for my 7D
the industry standard for shoulder stabilizers is red rock they make everything for cameras and then some in terms of shoulder mounted or hand held rigs

If you plan on shooting motion a follow focus is generally a welcomed addition. I'm more partial to primes for video but a zoom gives alot of flexibility and nobody will be able to tell the difference between an expensive and cheap lens filming at 1080p, unless you can, in which case you are unbelievable unique.
Edit: My issue with Zoom lenses is that (with the ones I've used) there is a slight zoom when focusing and I don't see that with prime lenses.

+1, that is something very basic people just won't get, especially those who watch linus' videos and take everything he says as the ultimate Truth, he is also wrong at times.

I've recently built in that case. We put 2x140mm stock fans to front intake and 1 Bitfenic Spectre Pro to rear exhaust. CPU was air cooler with 212 and GPU Asus 280X. With few stress tests all temps were normal while case fans were running at 60% of rpm.

gwertheim reacted to airdeano in Define R4 airflow chart
i found that if you made all fans intake (filtered of course), except the rear i/o the
R4 case can easily naturally vent the heated air through the hex mesh located at
the rear of case. this can aid in non-reference GPU cards, air/AIO cooling and
keep the dust down to a minimum.
