I can't watch the one they made about the 970, it was so stupid, like, they were insulting a fuck ton of potential future customers cause we bought a card that had a fake spec, like i know Nvidia pulled fake advertisment on me, but why the fuck is some douche from AMD insulting me, now i dislike both of them...

This is AMD's best in advertisments. Sad that the situation flipped

No worse than the Sega Saturn Japanese adds lol. Seriously the best console EVER made.

One exception to the SLI VRAM rule? It can "work" with different VRAM amounts but there is the risk of crashing.
DifferentSLIAuto has worked for some users, heck, even for some they could get SLI on non-SLI certified boards... but of course, it's at that users discretion.
I mainly recommend DifferentSLIAuto to users who have two GTX 970s but it won't allow them to enable SLI.

Interesting! Well it is a lot of detail on the screen and you are running that classic but still good GTX 560 Ti. Any chance you could try out the DirectX 11 version too please? I'd be interesting to see how that scales in comparison. I linked it as well in my first post.

Okay. So, I've tested the elemental demo, and it seems okay-ish... 

Highest FPS: 46
Average FPS: 30-35
Lowest FPS: 11 (the ending, when the ice guy appears)
 
Also, when a bunch of dust particles show up, it goes to 20fps.
 
Just to clarify, this was in DX11 mode.

I'm sure it shall, at least in bigger titles. It does seem from all the talk that it'll be dependent on game-engine support so I'm sure Unreal Engine, Cryengine, Source Engine (with HL3 if it gets confirmed!? ) will get support... I'm not hopeful about Unity Engine since it has always sucked for Multi-GPU support.
Besides, don't shit on my dreams! 2GB VRAM on my GTX 680 SLI!!! I wants the precious memory sharing!
I'll test out that Elemental DirectX 12 version at home... but I honestly think NVIDIA's driver still doesn't support Multi-GPU on DirectX 12. Might still be only single-GPU.

I have a (really) old GTX 560 Ti. I was surprised to see that it is supported by DX12

Price-to-performance wise? The GTX 980 Ti scales surprisingly well in the USA... but you should definitely check your prices. In some places in the world? The markup on the GTX 980 Ti is quite high compared to the GTX 980.

Hmm sounds a lot like you'll need a triple or quad parallel bridge... how low-profile is it?

And then just plug the ports you don't want to use. It needs to be parallel though as it'll need to pass through each card instead of serial which sends the fluid through each card one at a time.

But... tbh it would probably look a lot better with tubing going between those spaced cards.

Halo 1 PC got me into online multiplayer. I had so much fun... well, until people started to whore out to those damn banshees and fuel rod guns. Worst things to happen to Halo 1 PC tbh.
