You can buy a Pre-flashed 290 to 290X

I just thought this was really interesting as it's a cheaper version of the 290X but performs the exact same. I don't really understand why AMD does this but it's good for the consumer.

I would get the flashed 290

It's hard to argue with that. Unless you want Shadowplay and G-Sync. I prefer G-Sync and Shadowplay to shear performance which is why I went with Nvidia.

Sound's great but I wouldn't really consider this until custom coolers are available.

I seen this yesterday pretty cool. But I may juat buy the xFx model for ~£30 less and flash it.

I'm probably going to end up with 780Ti, because why not both? :P

I think it may just be overclockers uk unless other retailers start advertising it as 'pre-flashed'
