So i recently built my first gaming Pc, I got some of the parts of craigslist and some of newegg.

I was wondering if i got a good value for my Pc.

 

i7-4790k $250

Asus z97 M.O.B.O $100

250 crucial SSD $30

CM hyper 212 evo $30

Wireless Network adaptor $30

16 ares 1600mhz ram $60

ARC 650W powersupply $45

EVGA gtx 780 SC ACX cooler $225

Coolermaster HAF X case $60

2TB HDD $70

 

TOTAL PRICE: $900

nice score with the CPU and GPU

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Everything except for that PSU.  RIP to your pc if you try to overclock anything.  Replace it as soon as possible.

Be careful with used parts make sure they work before you buy them. This is especially important with Craigslist because there is no official return system.  Other than that the build looks good except the PSU.

Buy a new power supply. I would recommend a seasonic x650 (I own one).

Eh, not really if it was used as that's standard.  New it is goes for like 300-350.  

 

I have never heard of that PSU brand, OP.  Who makes the OEM?

It is Rosewill.

you might want to get the PSU replaced since it is not a true 650 watts PSU

Oh, it's a Rosewill ARC.  That's under Tier 6 aka junk tier.  

Nope i bought the CPU new on black friday! And thanks im going to upgrade my PSU

Score, I say. Just don't expect that PSU to survive very long. I'd use your savings on this build to subsidize the cost of a new power supply.
