So i recently got this card for my pc and I installed it and everything. But it still says I have a gtx 650.. Why?

Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers? And which specific 970?

It's the gtx 970 turbo and no I did not uninstall the drivers... Should I do that?

Uninstall and reinstall the drivers, that might be it.

Of course, I got some rice with it also

i was being serious with that question, alot of times chinese get coolers off 970`s and higher end crads and slap them on older cards and some times change the bios to show it as a 970 or higher end card, 

 

 

anyways try uninstall the driver and reinstall if that doesnt help contact asus, are you getting performance that are relative to 970`s ? if so theres nothing to worry about

Got any pictures of the PCB, back and front? cause it should say 970 not matter if there were previous drivers....

I installed some new drivers and now it says gtx 970 :) thanks for the help and sorry that I didn't take the question seriously..
