Some LGA-1151 boards support normal DDR3. There is an ASUS one that does the same.

I will soon be doing an lga 1551 build with the gigabyte UD H110M DS2 DDR3 mobo but it says it is 'ddr3' is this an error as skylake only supports ddr3L or ddr4 the same mistake is on amazon and gigabyte's website. - any ideas....
