Good way to tell if you can overclock your cpu is if it has a k on the end. Most gpus now can be overclocked using MSI afterburner or evga precision x.

I know about the MSI Afterburner but i just don't know how much to tune it

You have to watch a few tutorials. You usually go up by certain increments and test in benchamrks to see if stable. You cant type and number and expect it to work.

you were too aggressive you need to keep trying and lower it a bit each time to you get it stable while running a benchmark

as for how to you can find a video on youtube on the ltt channel about ocing a gpu im sure

You can OC your CPU by changing the base clock. Be careful, though, the BCLK is pretty dangerous to mess with.

Intel Core i7-6700K | Corsair H105 | Asus Z170I PRO GAMING | G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB | 950 PRO 512GB M.2

Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB STRIX OC | BitFenix Prodigy (Black/Red) | XFX PRO Black Edition 850W

yeah these CPUs just dont like BCLK changing very much, if you're lucky you might get 3mhz on it 5 if you're very lucky, giving 300 and 500 mhz boost on the CPU. not worth it at all.

Yeah... The instruction set and architecture just don't like BCLK adjustments.
