Cardboard box case V2

thekeemo

The old one was big

had basically no cable management

The power supply could easily slide out of

and obstructed my view of the boot codes

Also the motherboard was tilted because of the backplate for the 212 evo

and it was very flimsy

This version also has PCI-E slot thingies

and a RMA replacement board

Why do I have a box of catheter tubes? I honestly have no idea.

I made mine from a couple costco grape "flats" - one of the heavy duty cardboard trays that fit 6 to a layer on a pallet, so I got pre-supplied graphics with my case

Nah, didn't cost anything - chopsticks leftover from a chinese dinner, and tagalong with a friend who has a costco card  :)

As for pics ... I might be able to dig some up - it was quite a while ago.

The plan for v3 is to have it be a 3 box system

You have the big box where everything goes

A medium box to house the motherboard and GPU etc

And a small box to lift the motherboard up

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Black is visible

Red is behind one thing

Orange is behind two

Another idea i had would be to use plastic wrap stapled on the inside as a sidepanel window
