GTA IV Error!

Hey Guys! So I bought this new PC today and its working great. Anyways, I had some games that were not able to run on my other computer. So I decided to run them on this new one. I started with GTA IV. It installed as always, without any issues. Then came the error. Release Date Check Failure. So it didn't check the date and those stuff and then I had to activate it manually. I have a hard copy, not on Steam.

 

So after activating it manually, a pop-up said it has been successfully activated and then I closed it and opened GTA IV. It gave me the same error again. I googled it and got many more users having the same issue. Anyways, the issue was solved when I changed the date back to around Jan 2014. And then finally when I again tried to open the game, it gives me an error saying GTA IV Has Stopped Working.

 

 

Please help. What could be causing this? It's a totally new PC. Just been around 3 hours since using.

 

It has Windows 8.1

An i3 clocked at 3.70Ghz

Nvidia 2GB Graphic Card

4GB RAM.

which gpu is it (specifically model name)?

 

Edit: Make sure your computer's date and time is correct.

Well its the Nvidia GeForce 705 2GB DDR3

is youe DVD in the dvd drive> gta was one of those games that came with Secure ROM. also, did you get the Rockstar's Official No-DVD exe ?

well, google rockstar support NoDvd exe. copy paste it. restart PC, make sure your internet is active, open social club login.
