Removed cooler , Can I still use the thermal paste?

Hey guys! I removed the CPU cooler from my PC few days ago so I can transport it and avoid any damage. I left the thermal paste on the CPU and put the PC inside the case box for like 1 or 2 days. Is it okay to just install the cooler again without replacing the thermal paste?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800X +  GPU: Nvidia RTX 3080 12GB + Motherboard: Asus Crosshair VIII Hero

  Case: Asus ROG Strix Helios Gundam Edition Power Supply: Asus ROG Thor 850P

else thermals will be terrible

No, you should get some new thermal paste and replace the old one.

I knew it >.> Anyway , I only have 70% isopropyl alcohol swabs but it says on the box "Do not use with electrocautery procedures" Can I still use it?

You can use them. I use 99% myself, but 70% should do the trick as well. According to this site electrocautery has nothing to do with computers and is a medical operation so you'll most likely be fine :P
