Speaker fill not working

Heizu
Go to solution Solved by Heizu,

It 'CAN' matter.  I could see Pandora inside a web browser not working... and maybe even VLC not working (because it has a million and one settings that could override your default Windows Settings).  Try doing something a lot simpler.

Kinda defeats the purpose tho if i have to bring up a different player everytime... I set environment to room in realtek and it seems the side speakers and center are now albeit at a significantly lower volume.

Hey guys,

So I recently bought the Logitech z506 and they work perfect for games with 5.1 audio but with music and other 2.1 sources only the front 2 play. I have speaker fill enabled in Realtek and properties and still nothing. Is there a work around for this outside of Realtek perhaps?

Thanks for any info

That is very odd considering that is the sole purpose of speaker fill.

Do the speakers use all the ports on the back of the motherboard?

No motherboard is capable of more elaborate system, only 3 out of 5 used. The green, orange, and black

Does the sub work during stereo playback? or does only the green port work?

Try a generic music player... like the Xbox Music App or something.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

It 'CAN' matter.  I could see Pandora inside a web browser not working... and maybe even VLC not working (because it has a million and one settings that could override your default Windows Settings).  Try doing something a lot simpler.

That can also affect it, what other effects you have enabled.  Other effects, like a EQ setting for example (although its a bad example for this case), can override certain settings.  Be sure to set everything to default, then just enable the Speaker Fill effect itself only.
