If you had to choose between higher DPI and higher refreshrate (because lol you do), which would you prefer?

144 Hz -> 1440p

60 Hz -> 4K

1440p 144hz.

Ideal: 1440p ultrawide 144hz..... But that isn't possible (yet)

If i get 1440p i will not be able to use 144hz on every game ... i guess :/ only on games like CS:GO // League of legends etc

If you wanna play fast paced games go for a 1440p 144hz ips display, because they look amazing.

Well, if you can't run 144hz on 1440p, then you probably can't run 60 on 4K.....

60 on 1440p still looks pretty good tho.

I'm still on 1080p 60/75hz mainly since there isn't a good option yet imo, most monitors come close to being perfect but there is none yet even with g/free sync

Well "ideal" out of any of these would be 2160p 144hz ultrawide. 4K DPI is gorgeous.

4K 60 is considerably easier to run than 1440p 144Hz, though, because with 144hz CPU bottlenecks are often unavoidable even with the most extreme processors. Meanwhile a couple of 970s or a Titan X makes short work of 4K.

That's before you consider that the pixel rate of 1440p 144Hz is considerably higher than 4K 60Hz
