Change the motherboard to a H97 one, get a 4460, change the PSU to the 520w version and try to get a 390X

H97 is completely unnecessary, waste of money. H81 will do just fine. Literally all you lose is the ability to have on board RAID. Why get a 4460, a downgrade? Currently in most places the prices are extremely similar, so you may as well get the better one. Getting a more expensive mobo will not allow a 390X to fit into the budget...

Most H97 mobo's aren't that more expensive than B85 mobo's, so why don't get the better one? And downgrade to a 4460 so you can get a 390x

You realise a 4590 is currently $13 more than a 4460 (just going off US for ease). An H97 mobo would probably mostly cancel out that price difference. A 390X costs over $100 more than a 390 (cheapest of each, according to pcpartpicker)

Ah, I'm not really familiar with USA pricing
