Okay i see people are trying out win 10!, and problems are swinging from everywhere..

How did it go for youuu :D

Yep I installed it, went perfectly fine for me, no issues at all so far.

I am trying it...

Had to increase my "System reserved" partition... Also known as moving a partition of 108GB like 300MB to the right...

It's been downloaded and extracted atleast 3 times now, it's working on updates...

0/2 for a seamless installation.

 

Machine 1 (Desktop): Win7 Home --> Win10 Home. After the upgrade, the search indexer refused to start despite multiple different angles of attack on the thing. Had to do a clean OS install to fix the issue.

 

Machine 2 (Laptop): Win8.1 Home --> Win10 Home. Windows update pushed files and prompted for a restart. Machine is now in a boot loop and crashes upon loading windows (good thing I had an image backup!)

 

So all in all.....Not so great  ;).

You shouldn't blame people about asking about windows 10.  It is a big change.  For many people this is their first window update.  I'm still waiting for it to.
