R9 290X Backplate

_JohnB330ci

Hey, I have a quick question because I'm going to move my PC into a new case and get a Corsair H100i, but anyway, I was wondering, I want to put a backplate on my 290X as I most likely wont get a 390X for like 5/6 Months if at all, I have a reference Sapphire R9 290X, will this one fit?

That explains the DCII, do you know where I could get a reference sapphire one?

EK's backplates are designed to fit with their waterblocks. They say it is only suitable for use with their blocks, but the screws should still line up with the stock cooler.

However, that backplate is designed for ASUS's DCUII PCB, so it won't fit yours.

Do you know where I can get one that will fit mine?

There's not many around for the 290X.

You could get one custom made from here http://www.coldzero.eu/

They're well priced and the shipping is good as well.
