Cooler Master Hyper 212x for my CPU

Maber

First post sorry if wrong thread

anyway, I have a i7 4790 no GPU and my CPU always heats up on any game I play.

I cant afford a decent card right now nor I'm planning to buy one, since I'm currently studying and I only play dota 2.

I was wondering if the cooler master Hyper 212x is more than enough for me?

Thanks.

Good option

PC is Intel Core i5 6400, GIgabyte H170 Gaming 3, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB 2400Mhz ,Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB, WD Blue 1TB, NZXT S340, ASUS Geforce GTX 960. Fractal Design Tesla R2 650W. http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/793XNG. Graphics card choices don't always have to be dictated on performance. If you want the game stream and power consumption of the GTX 970 get that. If you want raw performance of the R9 390 get that. In the end we are all gamers, so what if your buddy gets an extra 5 fps?

So I`ll just buy the 212x ?

does playing on integrated graphics would lessen the life span of my CPU?

I have a HyperT4 on my Athlon 860k

A 212Evo is great for the money though. I built my granddad a system with a Kavari APU in it and it stays relatively cool when I really push it with CPU and GPU at the same time.

How much temperature would 212x reduce?

so far my temps from the basic cooler are ranging from 65-80 when playing dota 2.

I dont think so, although why do you have just a 4790?

well, my father bought it for me as a gift, of course I wanted a 4790k but its already here so I just deal with it.

I dont plan on overclocking anyway since the temp here is always 35+ degrees.

anyway thanks, Im convince on buying the 212x.
