Hello guys i want your opinion about 

Audio Technica ATH-M50x if they are good for gaming and are they comfortable

Unless you're looking for the greatest sound quality for gaming and video editing then grab it

But I would suggest getting a cheaper headset if you're looking to use it just for  games

It's mainly targeted for audiophiles who look for accurate sounds

 

Yes, they are comfortable and are great even for long periods of time.

Maybe you can ask the audio subforum, they know more about this stuff than the peripheral people do.

 

However, I have heard that they are not really good for gaming.  Instead, you could get something like the Sennheiser HD 598.

Currently roaming the forums in boredom

I like mice and keyboards and the sort

The M50X are way overpriced (at normal price) and not good for gaming (if you are after surround). The M40X are much better value. For gaming, look for something else like Beyerdynamic DT770 (closed) or DT990 (open).
