Apple discontinues original iPad mini

After almost 3 years in the market Apple finally killed it's first mini iPad. The iPad mini was introduced in October of 2012 and had the exact same specs as the iPad 2 which launched a year and a half earlier (March 2011). 

 

All the iPads currently in the market (iPad Air 1 & 2, iPad mini 2 & 3) are running either an A7 or A8X processor, both of which are 64 bit architecture.

I thought they stopped selling it ages ago, i havnt seen it on their website for ages, only the Mini 2 and mini 3

 

No point selling ancient tech, its hardly news

I like apple but an old version of a product being discontinued is literally just not news

I don't mind this being posted... Interesting to me since I had one. About time though Apple. It was too slow and had such a bad screen.

He also forgot to mention if you dont know about the topic then dont make stuff up. Dont claim fake or assume things just by reading the title, Read the post. It doesnt matter if you made 3,000 as it could be mostly crap...

How is that news? How come when any other company discontinues their products it's meh but that apple deserves special treatment like "this is how you should discontinue products, look"
