need help trying to upgrade

i know the cpu is slow i might upgrade to fx 8350 or up if my mobo can support it if not maybe 6300fx?but how can i tell what parts would be compatible?

hello im trying to upgrade my gpu but im not with one to get i prefer nvidia over amd gpus heres my layout 4130 fx cpu, msi 760gma-ps3 (fx) mobo 8gb crucial ram,kingston 120 ssd bootdrive,wd black 500gb(x2) storage geforce gtx 750 oc

600w psu wireless -n pcie x1 adapter and lg blue ray player combo im trying to figure which gpu will work for my system im have been looking gpus such as gtx 770, 780 and gtx 970 would any of these work if not could explain please? sorry new builder

Could,you try putting your PC in PCPartPicker? Don't worry if you can't find exact ram or psu, as long as the case Cpu mobo and current GPU is right, it's quite hard doing it like this.
