Transparent task bar

I'm going alittle crazy.

Re-installed Windows 8.1 as I usually do every 6 month or so to keep things clean.

I just re-installed and my taskbar transparency is gone? I cant find anywhere to re-enable it, and google is being no use.

Can someone help getting it back?

Why do you need a pic, its just task bar transparency (the bottom bar on windows with star menu etc)

There's no option to turn it on anywhere in the settings

Odd. Mine is pink. 

Then again, I have Start Is Back, which allows me to change the entire task bar.

You're probably using the Windows 7 Basic theme. Change it to the Windows 7 Aero theme under Right-Click-Desktop -> Personalize

 

You're using Windows 8.1, I'm an idiot. Trying updating Windows as it might have been a UI change in one of those updates.

tried typing "transparency" or "aero" in windows search?  Also, are your video drivers installed correctly? I've found that Windows will straight up not give you the option if your video card drivers aren't installed properly (mostly on AMD hardware).
