You probably need to configure the voice chat in-game, select the appropriate audio input. Also make sure that in Window's sound recording options (right click on volume icon at the taskBar) the microphone is selected as default device and defaul communication device, and that in its options the "allow applications to take priority of this device(or something similar)" is not on.

Planning on trying StarCitizen (Highly recommended)? STAR-NR5P-CJFR is my referal link

Could also be blocked ports, make sure you have the appropriate port open on your router.

Disable the "Allow apps to take exclusive control" and make it the default communication device, using the arrow next to "Set Default".

Looks like the astro a40 is the device you need to select when choosing a microphone to use.  If it's showing sound input only on the headset, then the microphone you have set as default can be disabled.

Well idk what to tell you.  Are there any special drivers or software on Astro's website?
