Help needed with creating a Gaming PC

Hello!

I am a 13 year old boy from England who is in need of a new gaming PC.

My current computer is a iMac from 2014.

I have about £600 ($900) to spend on my computer but i can go up to £700 ($1000), I hope to play games such as GTA V, Minecraft and Battlefield.

I also need to render high quality videos and things in cinema 4D this is why i am hoping for an i7. I would like a graphics card that can run GTA V at near high settings at minimum 60 FPS.

This is a build that i have come up with on PC part picker, please can you leave me some feedback on this post and tell me what to keep add or change. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Smerpie/saved/#view=HVPNnQ

THANK YOU!  :D  :D  ;)  ;)  :)  :)

welcome to LTT Forums.

Firstly there is no point buying that cpu with that motherboard as it will not be able to over clock personally i would change the 4790k for a i5 4690 and change the Gpu to a gtx 970 with the money you save from not buying the i7

Your money is in the wrong places. You shouldn't spend half your budget on an i7 and then skimp on everything else. Go for an i5-4690 (non-K) and a decent H-series motherboard and you'll have a decent time, overclocking a CPU provides no tangible improvement in gaming, nor does Hyperthreading.

I would surgest this http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/zMnN4D

This will suit you much better.

edit:

^ this is better then my try. i dont know about 4D, but atleast blender renders 3D stuff 12x faster on GPU then CPU, so having a 970 will probably be better then a i7

I would surgest this http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/zMnN4D

Unfortunately the PSU is a bad option to tell you bluntly, there are better options available

He also is doing 4D work, something that an i7 will help with

Here is what I would do

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor  (£239.99 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H81M-H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  (£34.98 @ Amazon UK)

Case: BitFenix Neos Black ATX Mid Tower Case  (£28.31 @ Aria PC)

290X is almost 970 speed for £70 less
4790 for the 4D work
Quality 550W PSU made by Seasonic, better than the Corsair and EVGA NEX interally
BX100 is a good price/performance drive

However, 16GB RAM would be highly beneficial

You do not need a i7 go with a i5. If you are planning to overclock then get a Z97 motherboard. Also up the Gpu to 970 and get a 500w power supply. GO with something like this http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/jWZq8d

PC SPECS: CPU: i5 4460, MOBO: Asrock H97 Anniversary, RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X 2x8GB, GPU: MSI Gaming R9 390 8GB, CASE: Cooler Master N200, Storage: 1TB WD Blue, PSU: Coasair CX600

For your situation go with a i5 4690k and a decent z97 mobo. You would benefit more from a better GPU, over CPU.

You can get significant gains from going from i5 -> i7 in video rendering and 4D work.

The CX500M is also pretty poor
