GTA V PC Benchmarks

steelbath66

I just picked up the PC version of GTA V a few days ago and decided to run the benchmark to see how my system was handling it.

Unfortunately, they don't have a pretty results screen like some games do.... I copied and pasted the framerate results below

I had all the graphics settings maxed out running at 1080p (Vsync off)

Frames Per Second (Higher is better) Min, Max, Avg
Pass 0, 8.074001, 126.121986, 97.754051
Pass 1, 32.079185, 143.422318, 94.831680
Pass 2, 63.105816, 164.169556, 105.929810
Pass 3, 13.135242, 169.881271, 115.919113
Pass 4, 21.539484, 198.670013, 104.335342

In case my specs change in the near future, I'll post my specs at the time of the tests instead of relying on my signature =)

Intel Core i7-4790K

Corsair H100i

MSI Z97-GAMING 5

16GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 2133Mhz (Red)

OCZ ARC 100 120GB SSD

2x Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD

2x Asus GTX 970 STRIX(2-Way SLI)

Fractal Design Define R5 (Black)

Corsair RM 1000W

Asus DVD/CD Writer

Windows 8.1

I'm curious to see how it is running on other people's rigs =)

To use the benchmark tool in GTA V, simply launch the game and navigate to the "graphics" menu. Then press the "tab" key to initiate the benchmark sequence. NOTE: You need to run through the first "Franklin" mission in the Story Mode of the game for the benchmark to operate properly. The benchmark will track performance and output results in the following location: "My Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\benchmarks"

Intel Core i7-4790K // Corsair H100i // MSI Z97A-GAMING 6 // 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 2133Mhz (Red) // OCZ ARC 100 120GB SSD // 2x Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD // 2x Asus GTX 970 STRIX(2-Way SLI) // Fractal Design Define R5 (Black) // Corsair RM 1000W // Asus DVD/CD Writer // Windows 8.1

Hmm, I guess I will have to run it a few more times to see how it does [emoji2]
