When you get to the point where you're only going to spend $80, might aswell go used, you'll get something like a 270X or a 270 most.

Many countries have their own version of Craigslist, in Australia its called Gumtree...

 

There is also Ebay, plus ebay alternatives, usually a rip off, but some users are genuinely good with their pricings..

 

I've seen countless 7870's go for $100 on ebay, similar to 7950's going on gumtree for $130

Its all in the luck of the search.. (Search daily, not just once and give up)

Not bad.  If you can wait a little maybe they'll have a 580 in stock and it's a far better card.

 

Last weekend they had a 590 for like $10 more.  I wanted to buy one but EVGA's shopping cart wasn't working properly.

You can always crap a GPU second hand or whatever  that will do the thing 

 

But use your brain you know if it looks legit enough do it... most of the times it is...

 

Otherwise what people say is pritty nice but you can go furder if you buy second hand.
