That is true, even with a 240mm rad it throttles past 95c

You may need a custom loop

i know you like AMD BUT TRUST ME.. iv been there and i noe understand that its just a mistake to use any fx part ryt now as its just the same cpu with different clock speeds.. fx 9590 is an overclocked 8350 get it.. whiles you can just buy an 8350 for like half the price..

Anyways ill come back with two systems one intel and One AMD.. then you choose

I know 2 970 beat 1 980, but 2 970 was $100 more expensive... and also there was a 970 that was cheaper then a r9 290x, and also you have to get a bigger power supply to sli or cross fire, so 1 980 is still cheaper...

What's the system being used for?

Under 18" tall?

Why such a large psu?

I want it for gaming, and some light editing, as i want to record games. It has to be under 18" because of my desk,I dont need a huge PSU just one to power all of my things.

I don't see why you would want to stick with AMD. Something like this would be better: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/qk4srH

Oc'ing isn't limited to Intel and the 9590 is meant for oc'ing.

I have looked at all the build suggestions, ATm i am willing to go with WoodMarker and Goodman's builds,

Goodman http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/sVwzdC

WoodMarker http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

I only added a cooler to WoodMarker's.

You need to post the permalink and not the url.

Why would you need an aftermarket cooler?

I dont like the look of the stock cooler,

Heres the correct link

WoodenMarker: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/kKh3nQ

GoodMan: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/sVwzdC

I also changed the CPU, because it was cheaper and was faster.

What's bad looking about the stock cooler? The Alpine 11 Pro looks pretty similar.

It's the same cpu.

The CPU was ment to be the i5 4460 @3.1GHz, i know its one more GHz but it was also cheaper. But i dont care too much any more.

The 4460 would need a Haswell-R ready motherboard like a h97 or z97 board and end up costing more.
