Microsoft's (Spartan) Edge Browser?

SansVarnic

Has anyone had a chance to review this yet?

What did you think of it? I would like to know how anyone thinks it stands up to other browsers (besides I.E. obviously MS knows it is time to move on from it)

Please don't use this thread to start a flame war on browsers, honest insightful comments please.

The browser is undergoing active development. It's not really possible to review an unfinished product at this time.

There's not much to say it's pretty decent and it's as functional as the other main browsers and with extension support means I will have 4 proper browsers on my system that I can use, I like the fact it is a universal app with proper 64bit support meaning it should be nice and secure and get updates for security and functionality quickly.

It will be a great choice for the mass market who would never install an alternative browser and a great choice for anyone on a tablet/laptop where battery life means everything.

It finally looks like Microsoft has a browser that people can use as opposed to use to download another browser.
