How well will my rig run GTA V at 1080p?

I've seen many struggle with an i5 4440 on gta V..... D:

fine, a quad core is actually the best for gta v, and also i5 is a very good quad core. your gpu is also good, so it will run fine. over 60 fps on ultra 1080p

Is the game worth the price tag tho?

Not at all! I have mine running at 60 percent fan speed at max load tempt (77C) and i cant even hear it unless i shove my ear next to it.

I haven't bought it yet. Mostly because I can't justify the Price tag and I've already played it previously on the Xbox. If you've never played it. sure. Totally worth it. But if you have, if you must, go for it.

I haven't bought it yet. Mostly because I can't justify the Price tag and I've already played it previously on the Xbox. If you've never played it. sure. Totally worth it. But if you have, if you must, go for it.

haha no. The 290x is for a different rig. I wanted to know how loud it is because my 290x's are 8 gig Vapor-X ones, not Tri-X ones.

 

Yeah having 2 290x's is pretty awesome. Except the fact that they use a ton crap of power. Besides that, they're great!

I've actually planned for cross fire 290x only to realise my motherboard will bottleneck it.... D: (i even gotten the PSU from amazon because it isnt available in my country)

You only need 1 290x for 1080p and 1440p. I have 2 290x's because I use 3 1080p monitors.

Then i quickly realised that having 2 290x in a country where ambient tempts are 33C~ isnt a good idea

I got my 290x's at post release date. (specifically around February) I wanted that 8gb vram. (not to mention the 3.5gb issue)

(i personally think AMD is going to be out of the game soon looking at how delayed the 390x is as compared to titan x....)

If you are a detail nut you will love it, I personally love find detail in any kinda model physical or virtual and this game is chalk full of it
